A spiral and a single line.
...
Wow.

If you think about this logically, it seems perfectly simple.
Dependent upon the depth of shadow in a certain area of the image, more or less pressure is needed.
That's basic drawing.
But to draw in a continuous circle, know precisely when to apply and alleviate pressure, gauge when the proximity of the line work should increase or decrease AND create an image that is both beautiful and compelling is seriously and enviously impressive.
